Moore is apparently a Roman Catholic and an Ex-Seminarian who studied for a year at a Jesuit school. Here is a Michigan news commentary article whining about it and how Moore's book Stupid White Men misrepresents Catholicism:

I never would have guessed Moore to be a papist.

I have no idea what the above comment means really, but I do know that America is becoming more and more 'Catholic' every day thanks to higher birth rates and immigration

Im as anti papist as they come, but while catholics( except the wops) are nearly all liberals and the church is deeply involved in the mexican invasions... white papist aren't generally fatter then other white guys... in fact ive heard the fattest chicks all live down in the overwhelmingly Protestant boonies of various parts of the South...
