Media Mogul and Australian Jew, Rupert Murdoch, is recruiting the help of Al Sharpton, which is nothing new. Although Sharpton tries to deny that he teams up to help Murdoch, their history together makes their relationship quite clear. The latest adventure puts together Murdoch’s News Corporation with Sharpton’s National Action Network and the ‘Don’t Count Us Out Coalition’ to fight the Nielsen Media Research company. Murdoch wants the Nielsen ratings discarded and a system such as the daily diaries used, because they give some of his shows a better rating. Murdoch wants his ghetto shows like ‘The Parkers’ to receive better ratings than what they are getting currently using the Nielsen Ratings. Also on Murdoch’s side in this battle are the Hispanics, represented by the Hispanic Federation and other New York City Hispanic politicians.
Sharpton had previously helped Murdoch save billions of dollars when Sharpton flew out to Colorado to picket the home of media rival Echo Star’s owner in 2002. Sharpton organized many more pickets and successfully helped to get Echo Star’s attempt to purchase DirecTV blocked. Echo Star had outbid Murdoch for buying DirecTV. Eventually the powerful Jew got the Justice Department to block Echo Star’s Deal and Murdoch bought DirecTV for billions less than he originally offered.
