Just wondering.

I swim for my school and also play club water polo.

A new sports facility was constructed recently not far away. I checked it out and it has two ice rinks. I was going to join the adult hockey league similar to what I have played in before, but decided not to due to time constraints. Maybe next year.

While in Canada, I played with the local Croatian Sports Club team and my father (an ex-pro in ex-Yugo) was my coach.

We were one of the best teams in Canada from the age of 12 to 18. I´ve played in tournaments in places like Bermuda and Mexico.

At age 18, I tore my ACL and I was pretty much done for, losing any hope for a soccer scholarship down to the USA (lots of my teammates on this team and in high school went).

Since then, I played in competitive amateur leagues sometimes against semi-pro outfits.

At age 25, I retore that ACL and had to sit out for a year and a half.

Since then, I have only played indoor.

I am gonna try outdoor again this spring with this local amateur side here in Switzerland...but am deathly out of shape.

I usually played on the left side of the midfield, or in the hole behind the two strikers.

...(more that I can't think of right now.

I played football back in high school (american football). I played Tight End (half the people here will have no idea what that is but that's ok.)


One interesting thing is that one of the schools we played was TC Williams, which is the school from the movie Remember the Titans. TC Williams isn't very good these days. but they still beat us.

I played soccer for years growing up until I discovered cannabis and so forth but I wish I could get back into sports of some kind. Smoking is the worst for getting back.

Anybody know of any good sports for a 20 year old smoker who isnt too interested in team sports to get into?

Pool, bowling, darts,...

That sort of thing. The kind of sports that mix well with beer.

If you enjoy a challenge, I would recommend endurance sports such as cycling or running, albeit these won't come too easily for smokers. Nevertheless, they may set some goals in sight for you and allow you to kick your habit. :)

I'd also recommend hiking, though it's not really a sport; solitary walks through the woods can be quite romantic if you find beauty in nature.

In high school I was on the volleyball team and swim team, and played intermural basketball and volleyball in college.

I play a respectable game of raquet ball, and wish I had more time and energy to continue with Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

I miss campus life.:(

In the past I played Football/Soccer. American Football, and Track, only Track for one year in college, the rest all high school. I still enjoy playing basketball most and need to get back to that enjoyable enterprise, perhaps this summer.

Oh and baseball is the only sport I totally suck at and despise.

I play hockey and netball I am throwing netball in though because it's just so damn boring!
