Internet explorer giving anyone else problems today?



IE has been acting weird for over a week, the international media has covered it extensively.

Nope. No problems here.

On a topic which seems related: I have had windows updates almost every day now for over a week, anyone else noticed this?

Go get Mozilla or Firefox -- open source, stable as hell, not (as) open to hijacking, and NO POP-UPS!

I like Opera too -- I switch between Mozilla and Opera as the mood moves me!

I had mozilla, but when you click a link, it doesn'topen a new page but uses an old window. That annoyed me to the point where I uninstalled it again.

I've been having problems with a Google bug that I can't seem to get rid of.

This needs to be repeated over and over and over until people get the point. IE is teh sux0r. :|

Constantinus, which version of mozilla were you using? With the current version of firefox, if you have a three-button or wheel mouse, clicking on a link with the middle button will open the link in a new tab in the same window.

IE is bull****.

It is very suseptible(sp?) to catching spyware spams that may contain virii and install spy programs. I'm usually pretty careful where I click, but a rare mistake with IE can prove to cause a great deal of hassle. Mozilla FireFox is a pretty good browser.
