Ancient Egypt seems to have been quite the meltingpot. Bellow a sample of the famed Fayum Portraits done on Mummies during the Roman era. Many of these fellows acording to the names were from the substancial Greek colony that had been settled in Egypt of centuries and other "upper classes" such as merchants.
