Me? I'm a Thierry Henry sort of guy. But I can't argue against this Ukrainian genius.
So, decide the debate for me. Thierry Henry? Or Andriy Shevchenko?

Too difficult to decide between the two.
Henry is best when coming in from the wing at an angle.
Shevchenko is not only an incredible opportunist, but he also has explosive pace and makes opportunities happen.

Shevchenko. Like Niccolo said, he's a great opportunist. He scores 'em out of thin air at times it seems.

Henry is better, but he is not French

No way. Henry is more visible but not nearly as effective. A Shevchenko who's not playing well will still score his goals.

Oh, yes, he's not French at all, but that should be obvious.

I think you're smart enough to figure out why he's not french on your own Apf. ;)

What religion is Thierry Henry? If he is Muslim or Catholic I regret voting for him in this poll  If he is neither of those then I'm glad I voted for him

Had you ever even heard of either of them before this poll Lenny? And what does Catholicism have to do with this?

I've heard of him, just don't know much about him such as what religion he belongs to.
I would not want to vote for a Muslim or a Catholic, that is what Catholicism has to do with it

I don't like the church but hating individual catholics... to the extent it distorts your view of who is a better [insert sport here] player is fucking stupid.

Catholicism isn't much better than a sharp pointed stick in the eye if you ask me

Shevchenko! Because I am convinced he would be able to equal his Serie A successes in any of Europe's other top leagues. I don't have the same faith in Henry.

Henry would do well too anywhere, as long as he has another striker with a killer instinct playing on the same team. A player with a good pass can play everywhere. Still, Shevchenko is the better striker.

how about trying to take a guess :
Hint 1 :
His parents were born in the french Antillas.
And if you still can't answer, hint 2 :
His first name is Thierry (verry hard to spot this one , I'll concede ... )
SO that leaves us with a huge probability of him being a non-practicing catholic .
