Interliga 2005, the qualifying round for Mexican teams competing to proceed to the Latin America Copa Libertadores is being held in the USA for the first time.
All the qualifying matches will be held in Houston, Los Angeles, San Antonio, Dallas, San Jose, and Phoenix during January 2005.

Yeah this crapola has been going on for about two years or so. They occasionally have pro mexican teams play at Reliant Stadium. Disgusting really. I couldn't imagine the stench of 40,000 mexicans crammed into one place.

America should have a team in the Copa Libertadores. Tough competition, but helluva cool.
