My molars feel much "tighter" than they did yesterday. There's no "slack" when I clench my jaw.
Either I'm going insane or my teeth are plotting against me.

They are plotting against you.
Talking about teeth, I hate people who brush their teeths for only two seconds and expect them to be cleaned. There should be a law dealing with such individuals.

How old are you? It might be your wisdom teeth pushing.

A dental surgeon said wisdom teeth might be an issue.
But wouldn't I still have a few years?
I have to say the scariest part is the little disclaimer on the pamphlets, saying I *might* end up with permanent mouth numbness or lack of taste buds or whatever.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out when I was 18. It was actually a lot of fun. I had one stuck up in my face, in a sort of tumor thing, so I had to go to the hospital. I woke up not exactly knowing where I was, feeling kind of high. There was not much of a difference between that and a night out. Except I had a nurse to do things for me, give me more morphine and what not. Great times. :D
I had no bizarre side-effects, like loss of taste or permanent numbness that you mentioned, and when the doctor was looking at my x-rays he said something like "Hmm. Strange, very strange". I had some rare and mystical wisdom tooth thing going on, but I survived and all is well. I'm sure you will be fine.
Hey...I never got any pamphlets like that!

Haha, you are going to be sitting there hearing your teeth being yanked out of your mouth *squish crunch squish* Tell them to put you under. Stand up for your rights.

My wisdom teeth have been coming up for a while now, but I've been stalling about getting them pulled for financial reasons. Usually they feel fine, but occassionally they'll get uppity and I have to take motrin for a couple days.

Mine have been coming up too, but I postponed getting them pulled cause the doc said there was a chance of being knocked out for a day or two, and I had exams coming. Damn things can be a b*tch.

That happened to me at the age of 17. When I woke up from surgery I was extremely lovey dovey. The nurse could have been a fat Olga and I would have told her how beautiful she was, how important she was to me and that I loved her and thought the utmost of her work. :/ I said thank you for everything she did, and she commented on how sweet I was. I ended up bleeding all over myself when I got home. I didn't even know it because my entire mouth was numb. The bad part about recovery was that I looked like a chipmunk for a week or so.
