We are undefeated. 4th in the BCS, probably 3rd now since Miami lost.

Last night was the third time I've heard the Ole Miss band play Dixie this season. They had stopped for a while -- it is quite a surprise to hear it again. Ben Tillman, of course, will always feel an affinity for Auburn.

Yeah, I never figured Fade for a sports fan.

I guess it's impossible to go to college in the South and avoid football.

Yeah its pretty insane, all of midtown Atlanta is bogged down with RVs and pickup trucks when we have home games.

They're 3rd on the AP right now. LSU isn't doing very well this year.

Looks like Auburn will get screwed out of the National Championship game this year, thanks to the laughable BCS system. Even though I love Pittsburgh, they could possibly go to the Fiesta bowl with a 7-4 record LOL
Over other deserving teams like Cal (9-1) or Louisville (also 9-1)

Interesting that Auburn did indeed get the shaft, as Manstein predicted. Not that I think they could have beaten USC last night, but they would've certainly made more of a game out of it than Oklahoma did.

The game was so bad that I fell asleep and missed the only highlight, 75,000 Okies booing what's her name (Ashley? Ashlee?) Simpson at halftime. Too bad. Wish I'd seen it. That and I didn't see any shots of O.J. Simpson (a USC grad) in the stands. That would have been funny. A true commentary on our times.

Well, the best two teams in the country clearly did NOT face off for some bogus national championship this year. That much is for certain.
