No I don't will. Where do you come from? Why do you support the Union, yet call yourself after an Irish hero?
I've taken an interest in Irish mythology of late, so Cu Chalain is my handle. It hasn't got anything to do with any nationalist ideology. As for the Union, it directly defends my interests as a working person, and I hope that it will eventually become an organ for economic and social change.
Is there some rule against Irish mythology enthusiasts also being unionized?

Don't call me that! When I have the time I will do some research, though.

Why Cú Chuláin over anyone else?
How does the Union protect you as a worker?
Because Cuchulain was a hero and mortal.
Unions make sure that employers won't be able to crap out on working conditions and wages if there ever comes a situation where that would be necessary to keep extracting profit from the workplace.

So was Ferdia Mac Dara, Fionn Mac Cumhghaill, Naoise Mac Uisnigh, Diarmuid Mac Aonghuis...
I had you wrong on the whole Union thing, I thought you were on about the Union between Britain and Northern Ireland. You see there are alot of Unionists who are taking an interst in Cú Chuláin because they see him as an 'Ulsterman' who defended the Province from 'Irish' attacks, which of course is rubbish.
BTW, Cú Chuláin's father was Conchúbhar, and his foster parents were Scathach and Aoife...the whole Lugh thing came later.
