The only charge of homosexuality brought against Caesar was him being the bedfellow of King Nicomedes, and this was only a malicious rumor spread by his enemies and those that challenged his reputation. Otherwise, Suetonius notes that Caesar was quite fond of women and did not restrain himself to engage in relations with numerous amounts of them.
Anyway, a fine new version of the Phora! :)

Julius Caesar's exuberant bisexuality is well established.
Suetonius reports that Caesar had to often endure mocking innuendos concerning his sexuality in the Roman Senate. See http://www.heraklia.fws1.com/private_man/
and the source of rumours
c. 79 BCE: Caesar, on the staff of a military legate, was awarded the civic crown (oak leaves) for saving the life of a citizen in battle. His general sent him on an embassy to Nicomedes, the king of Bithynia, to obtain a fleet of ships; Caesar was successful, but subsequently he became the butt of gossip that he had persuaded the king (a homosexual) only by agreeing to sleep with him. When Sulla died in 78, Caesar returned to Rome and began a career as a orator/lawyer (throughout his life he was known as an eloquent speaker) and a life as an elegant man-about-town.http://www.vroma.org/~bmcmanus/caesar.html

Julius Caesar's exuberant bisexuality is well established.
Let's take a look at the evidence...
Suetonius reports that Caesar had to often endure mocking innuendos concerning his sexuality in the Roman Senate.
He endured innuendos made by his enemies, this is true, however it suggests nothing about the reality of his supposed bisexuality. To quote Suetonius:
The only specific charge of unnatural practices ever brought against him [Caesar] was that he had been King Nicomedes' bedfellow - always a dark stain on his reputation and frequently quoted by his enemies*. [emphasis mine]
*Suetonius: The Twelve Caesars, pp. 23, #49, translated by Robert Graves
and the source of rumours:
...Caesar was successful, but subsequently he became the butt of gossip [emphasis mine] that he had persuaded the king (a homosexual) only by agreeing to sleep with him...
Gossip is well established fact. I see that you are an enemy of logic!
Another passage:
His affairs with women are commonly described as numerous and extravagant: among those of noble birth whom he is said to have seduced were Servius Sulpcius' wife Postumia; Albus Gabinius' wife Lollia;...*
*ibid., pp. 25, #50
There are no passages in Suetonius's biography of Caesar that reference his supposed homosexuality beyond the rumors propagated by his enemies, the republicans. We can understand why they would do so in that a politician's career was dependent upon his public and private reputation, and they wished nothing less than Caesar's ruin. They feared Caesar and his reforms, for they knew what would become of their beloved republic! Their fear was to become true, and Caesar was murdered due to those very reforms that had been so feared by the republican party. Thus we are able to distinguish a motive for the malicious rumor and why it was propagated, and who exactly propagated it to the public eye and in what interest it was propagated.

What Suetonius seems to say in that passage is that the history was a very credible one (worthy to be quoted by him) about him having had an homosexual afair with King Nicomedes, so possibly true that tarnished for ever his building reputation. That his enemies liked to keeping bringing up this story as to mock and ridicule Caesar, has nothing to do about the story itself having to be true. Caesarīs enemies used this existing malicious rumor to hurt Caesar but had nothing to do with reality or not of this "rumor". The fact we should look at is from where did this rumor start from. Was it directly in Rome, or perhaps at some other on-site observer like some Ceturion or other Roman diplomats...It would be interesting to find out about the very source of this rumor.

People make fun of Rohm saying he's gay. Doesn't mean it wasn't true.

Hello, Mike. It's me: 'Adelaide', 'Ada', 'Abby Normal', and so on. You missed that time when Johnson accused me of being you, and everyone believed him. In addition, Edana thought I was Ix (or still thinks so), Ix thinks I am Johnson, Johnson thought I was Der Sturmer, Der Sturmer thought I was Cosmocreator, and Cosmocreator thought he could 'prove' I was a Jewish male homosexual by an 'analyzation' of my writing. The entire thing was so pathetic that it ceased even to be humorous. Enough babbling; anyway, welcome back!

Gaius, if I may, I would recommend Geist for moderating Neo-Con watch. I think he would be fair, and it would bring balance to the forum by having a member who is not very extreme in his political beliefs as a moderator.
I think Geist is also someone you could trust, you have some similar interests at least and have exchanged words in the past I am sure.

The Mediterranean forum, naturally. I'd also be willing to moderate Historiography, Religion & Mythology, and Arts & Literature, for I imagine I will browse them more frequently than the other two.

Besides having been drafted by parental authority into a 'volunteer job', as of late I have spent my spare time in rigorous training for the Pentathlon of Nonathletic Butt-Sitting Pursuits, which involves an exhausting schedule of reading, writing, TV-watching, computer-use and phone-talking. You? :)
