What does everyone think about locking threads that go on for a number of pages and continuing on a new thread? I've heard opinions on both sides and would like to get some consensus.

Also, please send me links for intro's to your favored school of economics and I'll consider making some sticky threads. I had in mind a a sticky thread for, e.g., the basics of Marxist economics, Austrian School Economics, Monetarism, etc.

It's easier if you have been debating in it all along, but for people who want to catch up on it later, multiple threads can be a bitch to keep track of.
