I'll think about this in a bit. I will attempt to design a concept banner that is appropriate to the new agenda of this board.

europhoria.com/europhoria.org sounds enticing to be honest, and it has aesthetic appeal regarding a euro-based website hence 'euro' in front of 'phoria' which is obviously in reference of the lush feeling of euphoria, or a new 'aesthetic' european postmodern community and its parallel sentiment 'luxury'. Although the name was intended as a joke, I quite like it. :) Though both seem to be taken?

I used purple because it is the most royal color. I don't think the white needs an explanation. Just a rough idea for Fade to ponder. I tried to create something fairly contemporary that might appeal to a younger generation.

I like this idea. Purple is the colour of European majesty. Such a style set would project an aura of elitism and refinement, which is precisely the image I wish to associate with our board. We should not rush into this as we have done in the past. The image the new board projects should reflect our new values. The old board was an aesthetic chaos -- a vacuum of simpletons, trolls, and idiots. The futuristic style set had nothing to do with the purpose of the board. It was totally inappropriate. The majority of the posts were either puerile or full of hostility. There was more discussion about why this board sucks or why this person is an idiot than there was about racialism, history, or philosophy. There is no telling how many good people were deterred from registering because of this. Even worse, there is no telling how many good people left because of our board was transformed (e.g., acelordization) into just another childish SlackerCentral or white trash VNN Forum. So this time we should enforce a rigourous aesthetic. The forum should have a certain positive and mature 'mood' or 'feel' to it. We will probably need to come up with some regulations for signature/avatar use as well. Once again, image is very important. The image this forum projects is what attracts or repels people to this board. I will reflect more upon this later on this afternoon.

The fonts also looked to futuristic and digital. Nothing classy resembling olg european history, but rather comercialism. It looks like a banner for a drugstore chain.
