The Phora has been around for at least 3 years. It has undergone many name changes to avoid hackers and such.

3 Years? Why only 166 memebers? If I remember right Skadi was also around 3 years old but had at least 10 times that membership.

Yes, and those thousand posters were the height of intelligent discourse.

The Phora, for ill or worse, follows an aristocratic valuation system.

I don't think The Phora's "Aristocratic Vauation System" has anything to do with its slow groth compared to other Forums.

I think it has to do with the fact that this place is more "Off beat". You can find a link to Skadi just by typing certain subraces or anthropological terms on Yahoo or other Search Engines and pressing search.

NP,

The Phora has been around for three years or so. The problem is that we have lost the database several times due to hackers so we have had to keep starting over. The newest Phora has been around only since late June.

We dont have as many members cause we get hacked every once in a while. Which we have to start over. Blame the :jew:

There was a software flaw on the old vB 2 that always let them get into the Admin CP through the calender. The new vB 3 should have fixed that.

Let me just state here, as a general statement which has little to do with the topic at hand, that I HATE hackers.

Thank you for your time, that will be all.

Yes, and even with ten times the members it had at most one tenth of the quality of membership (hint hint; nudge nudge).

Those who participated Regularly more or less were.
Didn't you participate regularly?

Hence the greater amount of idiots who found that site. ;)

Lets don't carry on the old quarrels here.
