Chris Penn vs Sean Penn

Post by Ixabert »

CHRIS PENN was a good actor. His talents, unfortunately, are not shared by his brother, SEAN PENN—that insufferable pretender to the craft. The common error is to confuse SCREAMING or YELLING your lines with acting talent—a misconception commonly held by people unversed in the theatrical craft. Merely SHOUTING your lines isn't "great acting". Loud declamation in itself is not genuine artistry.

Whenever Sean Penn appears on screen, I can't help but cringe at the display of his utter deficiency of skill as an actor, which stand in such unfortunate contrast against his late brother, who at least was capable of acting.

Sensitive spectators recoil in dismay at SEAN PENN's pitiful exhibitions of pseudo-talent.
